What is the cost of shipping?
Orders for $50.00 or more receive Free Ground Shipping to the Continental USA. Expedited shipping options are also available for a fee.
Orders less than $50.00 will be charged shipping based on package weight, dimensions, and delivery location.
What shipping options are available?
You may choose one of the following UPS options during the checkout process:
• 3 Day Select
• 2nd Day Air
• Next Day Air
• The size and weight of your purchase are factors that help us determine the most efficient delivery method
• Large orders may require a less-than-truckload (LTL) freight shipment
• All closet rods require the use of LTL freight services due to their length, charges may apply
Alaska and Hawaii Delivery
Orders to Alaska and Hawaii require special delivery quotes. Please call our customer service department at 800.231.9522 or 919.542.6300, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (EST).
Can you ship outside of the United States?
Yes. The shipping area includes United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Please note that any applicable duties and taxes will be handled through the carrier’s (UPS or Fed-Ex) own brokerage services.
Can orders be shipped to a PO Box?
UPS does not provide delivery to a PO Box.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Money orders or business and personal checks are accepted but must be processed through our customer service department. Please call us at 800.231.9522 or 919.542.6300, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm EST for processing.
When will my order ship?
Within 48 hours of order receipt unless otherwise noted in the confirmation email. Tracking information will be sent once the order has shipped.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged when you complete the payment step of your online order.
What states require me to pay sales tax online?
When can I expect my order?
Ground: 1 to 6 business days after shipment of order. Please refer to the link for Estimated Arrival Time during the checkout process.
3 Day Select: 3 business days after shipment of order
2nd Day Air: 2 business days business after shipment of order
Next Day Air: Next business day following shipment of order
NOTE: Wood Technology cannot be held responsible for shipping delays caused by inclement weather or disruptions in service caused by carrier.
What is your return policy?
Goods may be returned for a refund (minus all shipping costs) within 30 days of delivery. Customers wanting to return goods must call our customer service department at 800.231.9522 or 919.542.6300 for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Goods must be returned complete in the original packaging and are subject to inspection upon return. A RGA can not be issued for special order, non-stock, obsolete, or made-to-measure goods.
What if my shipment is damaged?
If the package arrives in obvious poor condition (i.e. carton ripped open, crushed cardboard, obvious abuse, etc.), please refuse the shipment and call our customer service department at 800.231.9522 or 919.542.6300. We will make arrangements to send out a replacement shipment. If you do accept the shipment and find the contents damaged upon inspection, please call our customer service department within 72 hours of receipt for further instructions.
What if I receive a wrong order or item?

What if I receive an incomplete order?
If part of your order is missing, please contact us and we will make it right. Call our customer service department at 800.231.9522 or 919.542.6300. If the item is unexpectedly backordered, we will ship the item as soon as soon as it is back in stock.
Why am I receiving the order in separate boxes?
Depending on the size of your order and availability, it may be necessary to ship the order in separate boxes.
If I am local, can I arrange to pick up my order?
Yes. Please call our customer service department at 800.231.9522 or 919.542.6300 to coordinate picking up your order. All orders arranged for pickup must be paid for in advance.
